Save the Date: The next RIPE@2026 Conference will take place 20–23 October 2026 in Taipei, Taiwan. The event will be hosted by the School of Communication at National Chengchi University and supported by the Taiwan Public Television Service Foundation (PTS).
Under the theme “Politics and Public Service Media”, RIPE@2026 invites scholars, media professionals, and policymakers to submit paper proposals addressing, but not limited to, the following areas:
- Political dynamics, media capture, and PSM autonomy
- Geopolitics, global power shifts, and the evolution of public service media
- Policy-making and regulation in a changing media environment
- PSM in the digital age: tackling disinformation and platform power
- Trust, neutrality, and public legitimacy as political battlegrounds
- Emerging agendas: sustainability, DEI, and the future mandate of PSM
Submissions:
Abstracts (maximum 600 words) are welcome until 28 February 2026.
The submission platform will open in January 2026 — details to be announced.
Timeline:
- March 2026: Review process
- 1 April 2026: Notification of acceptance
- 1 August 2026: Deadline for full paper submission
